If you are outside of Alaska, please provide the following to title a Vehicle to the State of Alaska:
- Alaska Application for Title and Registration [.pdf file]
- In blue or black ink, Fill out sections 1-5. Sections 3 & 4 may be out-of state addresses. SIGN Section 9.
- Make sure you include you FULL middle name (not just initial)
- If there is an "AND" between the owner's names, you will need both signatures of owners to release the title. If there is an "OR" used, you only need one signature.
- Proof of Ownership
- MCO – Manufacturer Certificate of Ownership - OR -
- MSO – Manufacturer Statement of Origin - OR -
- TITLE – signed or re-assigned on the back
- Lien release if applicable (a letter from lien holder marked paid or lien release stamp on original title)
- Copy of your LES (Leave and Earning Statement) within last 90 days.
